This is BATTLEFORCE, a government task force team from the COSMIC STAR universe (EARTH CQ). Its ranks include:

QUICKSHOT:
A cowboy hero from the 1890s, QUENTIN SHOT JR came to the future by accident when he put on the strange belt of time travelers from an alternate 1988. He winds up meeting the COSMIC QUARTET, who somewhat help him to adjust to life in the present. He was eventually approached by REX PAXTON to lead the team known as BATTLEFORCE.

LADY TRIANGLE:
A woman who is actually 3 women in one. She is archeology student EMMA EMERSON, supermodel ROXANNE SUMMERS and an ancient Queen of a long lost civilization known as Ortannus. Roxanne Summers was a supermodel that seemed to die when coming to the long lost ruins of Ortannus, and Emma Emerson was an archeology student at RUSSEL TECH in KEELER CITY NEBRASKA. Emma's consciousness controls the power, whereas the appearance of LADY TRIANGLE is that of ROXANNE SUMMERS. Yeah, pretty confusing huh? Eventually, REX PAXTON asks her to join BATTLEFORCE.

COMET MAX:
Maximillian Machalister was an irresponsible daredevil, one who drove his motorcycle into a pool of mysterious alien energy. He wound up going into a coma, only to awaken during the DAYON invasion and gain the ability to launch himself like a human rocket. REX PAXTON found him in Vegas, and offered to pay off debts he owed to the mob if he joined BATTLEFORCE. It was either that or go to a federal prison, so obviously he agreed to become a government superhero.

SILVER PHARAOH:
Charles Landon is no mere lawyer from CRIMSON CITY MASSACHUSETTS. He is also the inheritor of a mystic mantle, one created by the Egyptian sect of KRONOSIANS. He has his own personal hideout called the SILVER PYRAMID, which has been used by all the SILVER PHARAOHS of the past, and also has a computer called ISIS that helps him manage the place. He too was approached by REX PAXTON to join BATTLEFORCE.

GOATMAN:
Roger Jenkins was a great agent for the agency known as G5, only to be captured by DR. KEWPIE and become cross mutated with a goat of all things. He is quite angry actually, as his status of being a GOATMAN caused him to avoid his wife and two children. He is an old friend of REX PAXTON who fought alongside him in the past, and happily joined the new BATTLEFORCE team. Well, whatever constitutes happy for GOATMAN anyway.

PSI-BADGE:
Hayden Blake acquired incredible psychic abilities when she got shoot during her first day on the Cincinnati police force. SHe woke up during the DAYON invasion, which is when she got her amazing abilities. She used her abilities as a special agent of the Cincinnati police department, until REX PAXTON petitioned her police commissioner to allow her to join the BATTLEFORCE team.

REX PAXTON:
In 1945, Allied forces and a great gathering of costumed heroes stormed a place called CASTLE QUATSCH in Germany. They found several incredible things that Hitler wanted to use against the world, including a strange sleeping robot that they accidentally activated. General Eisenhower ordered the android taken to a place called FORT ISAAC, and it was here where REXFORD DWIGHT PAXTON has his first memories. REX PAXTON was taught all about the American ideal at FORT ISAAC, as well as how to use his mysterious android capabilities. He has served the United States government since 1945, and continues to do so to this very day. He sometimes holds more authority than even the President when it comes to the nation's military forces, and knows more about secret intelligence than a room full of J. Edgar Hoover's and Nick Lindy's. He not only helped PRESIDENT WEST form such a team called BATTLEFORCE via MINUTE MEN initiative, but also joined such a team himself. He went to each of the other 6 members and recruited them personally, with some of them easier than others. REXFORD DWIGHT PAXTON is one of the most important characters in the COSMIC STAR universe.
