Description This is Johnny Beyond, one of the many characters introduced in the 1963 comic miniseries (Which was actually made in 1993 by Alan Moore, Steve Bissette, Jim Valentino, Don Simpson and a few others).  I almost didn't draw Johnny Beyond due to him being my least favorite character of the miniseries, but I figured it wouldn't be complete if I left him out.  So I drew him shrugging his shoulders, then made this weird psychedelic wave thing around him for the heck of it.  Also, just for fun, I wrote the little Stan Lee style nicknames that Alan Moore gave to those who worked on the miniseries with him (For those of you who don't know, 1963 was somewhat of a homage of the old 1960s Marvel stuff, or more like a satire I guess).  I even snuck in the name Dan Boleo, as it was an add on the back of the first issue which asked, "Shamed of you English?"  It was one of the many fake ads which made 1963 a real treat to read.

It's a shame we'll never see this thing completed, oh well!!!
