BETTY CAP is a character that I originally imagined about...hmm, maybe 4 or 5 years ago, somewhere around there. The original concept was a tomboyish baseball playing girl from the mid 80s being transported to the future where a civil war had broken out between men and women...but, I decided that idea was stupid, so I kept the name BETTY CAP and did a complete overhaul of what I wanted.

BETTY CAP was transformed into a story that somewhat resembles Super Mario, or Alice In Wonderland. I've always loved video games, specifically old Nintendo ones. I wanted her to be BETTY VERONICA ANDERSON, and come from a small Missouri town where everything is usually pretty boring and mundane. Then suddenly, her life gets really weird when she runs inside an old mansion to get out of a big storm. This mansion is filled with various doors, on the walls, floors and even ceiling. This strange magic house is maintained by two old men, one really nice and the other...well, not so nice. Long story short, after getting magic clothes and an indestructible baseball bat called RED SLAMMER, our beautiful young heroine BETTY CAP would wind up going through the many doors of this mansion and stop the plot of the evil old man, whatever it was. These doors of course lead to all sorts of weird dimensions, much like those giant paintings would lead to other levels in Super Mario 64.

Okay, it's still a work in process, as many of the concepts need to be ironed out more. Still, I love the character and I love the story potential she has!!!
