Description
Decided to take the new kid out for a walk... 11.04 with Unity 3D. Nothing major! Using Unity for more than a week now, and surprisingly I begin to like itI named the shot "Elementary Progress" just because it is a combination between [the] "Progress" theme by ~giovannirossi and the Elementary theme. Kinda ironic name for a Unity Shot
P.S. : Loving the shadows! And download for better quality!

Wow awesome screenshot! I have three questions.
Which music player are you using?
Which file manager are you using?
Cam you share your theme?

Ok here we go:
Music Player - Rhythm-E (I used the bzr branch lp:rhythm-e to compile it for natty)
File Manager: Nautilus-Elementary
My GTK+ theme is a combination of two themes that are publicly available to anyone! First one is called Elementary [link] which I use for my "Window Border", and the other theme is called Progress 2.0 [link] for my "Controls". I take no credit for these themes, my screenshot just shows both of them combined into one smooth elementary experience, since Progress 2.0 is based on Elementary!
Anywho, take care and have fun with Linux!

Wow, this shows that my hated Unity might look sexy after all!
When I install 11.04 I'll give it a try...
Looks awesome!

Thanks for the comment! What I like about unity is that it combines the application launcher "Gnome-Do", which I use a lot, aaand Unity has a decent search engine. Basically all I need within the reach of just one button!

yes i agree..I have a stupid question for you i know it will be simple onece you answer it so here goes how do i change the sidebar icons and just those icons. Some of them change when you change the icone theme but not all change. I thought that was a little weird.

Change in the icon theme you're using the 16 px places and devices icon for the ones you want to use in the sidebar

Thank you, dude! XD And @*ShippD, basically yes! Go to your corresponding theme folder. All sidebar icons are located in "places" and "devices" 16 folders, as DavidOteroNavarro said! Once again, thank you David!

No, no! I really like it, you even motivated me to make an upgrade to 11.04, which I'm doing right now. I'll test it for a while and then make a decision to stay with it, or to switch to gnome3 or to xfce4, which is quite possible though.

I tried gnome 3 btw! It needs work... and for such a customizer like myself, it doesn't quite fit my taste yet! Will wait for the 3.2 version! I am thinking about xfce 4.8, looks really interesting!

Gorgeous. Instant fav. You just might want to look for other version of Lucida Grande font, as the "Bold" one you're using is misaligned (see - "Home Folder" on the panel). Common problem, just search for a different .ttf .
Oh, and the sidebar icons are just pure sex.

I noticed that. I didn't think it was the font, thought it has to do with the theme I am using. Thanks for the advise, will look for a better version of Lucida Grande! Thanks for the fav and all warm words!

Well, that's interesting. Looks like this year's gonna' be a big one for Linux. @_@ We might never see a year like this again. Three totally awesome composited environments all competing with ultra-modern features. Just insane what it's come to, this awesomeness. Glad I'm here for the party.

What exactly are you referring to? Unity, Gnome 3 and KDE 4.6?

Oh, just referring to your theming here on Unity, and how everything on Linux is getting pretty exciting and modernized. Not that it wasn't modern before, but now we're setting new standards again after what felt like a long drought of overhauling the interfaces. I mean, I remember when I thought Ubuntu's notifications were awesome- I had no idea what was coming. XD
