This VF-25ES is a modified version of standard VF-25E, flown by 2nd Lt. Sheryl Nome, after her joining the S.M.S. private military company Skull Squadron in 2065. Lt. Nome has volunteered to the S.M.S. after finishing the pilot training program in Mihoshi Academy. Interestingly enough she has not ended her career as a singer, stating that "If Mylene Jenius could be both a singer and a pilot at the same time, so can I". Of course the number of concerts, she performed in has severely lessened since her new duties took a lot of time, and most of the concerts were held at planet Aimo, where S.M.S. Skull Squadron was stationed.

The ES variant was modified from the standard E version by the addition of fold speakers into the battloid shoulder pads. It also features harmonic amplifiers based on Fold Quartz. Similar to Colonial Fleet 7's Sound Force valkyries, the VF-25ES incorporates cockpit sound energy transmitter seat, but lacks their unique control systems and speaker pod launcher, relying on standard VF-25 armaments.
A unique version of SPS-25S/MF25 High-maneuverability Super FAST pack system was constructed for it in 2070.

Author's note: In the TV series Sheryl joined the pilot course in Mihoshi Academy. Knowing her stubborn personality, I'm pretty certain that she will finish the course. Considering the quote, in Macross 30 game, Sheryl states that Mylene was her inspiration, (or something like that, my Japanese is pretty bad, and the game is a Japan-exclusive).
