This picture was in my W.I.P. folder for a very long time and I'm not really happy with the way it looks like, so I will probably draw a better one some day. But I will upload this version here anyways.Inspired by one scene from Upheaval Breaking Point [link]

why don't you put it into your scrapbook if you feel that it's sub-par and/or a W.I.P?
the image isn't too bad, it looks like a different style than your other pieces, which I would be interested in seeing more pictures done in, it looks kinda like the show, with some of your older style in there as well
not sure if it's just me, the camera angle, or how you drew it, but Twilight and Fluttershy look more like ponies, rather then looking horses like in some of your earlier pictures
once again, more flame effects, what is it with you and fire? not that I'm complaining, you draw it very well
the only part the really gets to me is Fluttershy, she's just standing there, the look of shock on her face, is both done pretty well and looks completely retarded at the same time, but now looking at the scene, I guess it kinda fits, I guess what really makes me dislike Fluttershy here is that her hair looks like it's made of gum/plastic
Twilight looks very good, though looking closely at her hair, she also suffers from it looking like plastic, though it's a lot less obvious then Fluttershy, due to the what I assume to be glare from the flame
since when did mage coats have sleeves? (I assume that's what Twilight is wearing) and were a full on piece of clothing?
plus, where's Pinkie? she was in that scene as well
and I assume the huge amounts of black is because this is a W.I.P. and not you being lazy

The picture is not finished and I do not like where it is going so I just uploaded what I have and I will do it again some time in the future.
I'm experimenting with making my ponies more pony-like, just like I said in the past. This is as far as I could go.

I drew that scene from memory, so I don't remember the details. I know Pinkie was there, I just didn't add her because, see the second sentence.
And I still have no idea how to shade hair to look normal.

I guess the lack of texturing on Fluttershy's hair, plus the way that the light reflects off of her hair makes it look like silly putty/Plasticine, Twilight's hair looks better because it's split at the ends makes her hair look more...like hair, while Fluttershy's just looks like it's made from one piece of silly putty
