Name: Tanzanite
Age: Unknown
Height: Same size as Jamie
Allegiance: No one
Personality: Self loathing, avoids confrontations, doubts himself, pretends to be ok when he actually isn't.

Tanzanite is a gem from the home world, that is living on Earth. Tanzanite was one of the gems that allied with Rose Quartz, who rebelled against the home world gem (after witnessing gem production for the first time, that is). Though he was trained by a top ranking warrior, he never really felt comfortable about hurting others, but he knew he had to fight to keep his fellow gems safe. He's also one of the gems that feels really uncomfortable about fusing with another, so he avoids situations that call for it. Despite that he joined Rose and the gems that rebelled aginst the home world, he never wanted to fight his own kind. So once the battle started, Tanzanite ran away and hid. When it was all over, he still refused to come out of hiding, not out of fear, but shame. Tanzanite has spent years hating himself for what he did, and knew the other gems would hate him as well for being such a coward. So he travels the globe in exile, doing the best he can to make sure that no one sees him, especially other gems that might know him. One day, he returned to the kindergarten to remind himself of those he abandoned. But then he found a little gem still living there, a Diamond. Tanzanite for the little one and decided to take care of her. Since then, Tanzanite started hating himself a little less and smiled a bit more. And though he still hates fighting, he will fight tooth and nail to keep Diamond safe from harm.
