Could be used as a skeleton for robo animals in the future. it's a really good concept for a roboter. Looks pretty flexible but also easily vulnerable.... But it's foolish to understimate something that has literally balls of steel (please excuse the pun XD).
According to the describtion, I think contolling this machine is like commiting suicide. At least I wonder how he survived the 500%.
Anyway, the shading is also very good. The metal doesn't look to shiny (to expensive for robots and not really useful) but also not dirty. I guess, it has the perfect middle.

Actually the pilot in the description is an enemy pilot. The mech uses psionic emitters to fry the brains of enemies.
