In the future world of Judge Dredd, mankind has largely been reduced to living in the few megacities in the blasted wilderness of a post apocalypse across the planet every country with a functioning society has it's version of Judges. Here is one of Hondo-Cities finest, Judge Inspector Aiko Inaba.Hondo City is located in Japan and in terms of technology is a little more cutting edge than Megacity One, Inaba herself makes use of an energy blade that is decidedly exotic compared to the standard boot knife/daystick that Dredd would make use of.
Inaba is a rarity, being the first female Judge to serve in Hondo City in spite of opposition. She has also teamed with Dredd when he has made an occasional visit to Hondo City. Currently she is partnered with a powerful female Psi cadet. Unlike most of the Mega City One Judges, Inaba has displayed a witty sense of humour.
Inaba is rather new to me, since i have only started reading the Judge Dredd Megazine that she has featured in recently, but she seems such a likeable character along with her younger cadet partner.
