Description
With the upcoming X-Men movie i decided to do a bit of Marvel artwork as Magneto returns to one of his hideouts to find himself greeted by an old friend.

Obviously inspired by the movies rather than the comics/cartoons, i rather liked the Magneto/Mystique relationship, it was interesting right up until the 'X-men 3- The last stand' movie ( it made no sense for Magneto to drop her when she lost her powers, it would have made more sense for him to be driven to find a way to restore them. I guess they needed to show he was the 'badguy' by ditching his closest friend other than Xavier ) but that third film is probably best ignored.

Funny thing is in the actual comics i'm not even sure the two have been in the same room for 10 minutes in their 30+ years of confused Marvel comic continuity, let alone having had any sort of relationship with the movies developed depth. A pity that Marvel comics didn't try to take an interesting idea on board from the movies, but tried to give Spider-man organic web-shooters like his Sam Raimi movie version.
