I hardly ever see anything longboard related on dA. Good use of motion blur, it really adds movement and depth to the shot.

you just have a longer shutter speed then you would normally...he is focused on the skateboard, so the rest is down to his movement.

Wouldn't it need to be kept awesomely still? I use that slow shutter speed for eerie night shots and even the gentlest movement blurs the pic.
