Ngl, I was super inspired by 2018 Mermista for Misty design-wise, given Mermista also has water powers, blue hair and is snarky while also having a darker complexion, similar to Jamie, so now I lowkey consider Mermista a Jamzuli fanchild, in spirit at least
Misty is a young teen with 2 loves: The ocean and acting. She's a surfer, swimmer, paddle boarder, as well as an aspiring voice actor. She's mostly a very chill person, but like her mom, she can be very snarky.
Her hydrokinesis isn't as powerful as Lapis's, but it's still very impressive.
