A redraw of this:Ā vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/cā¦I decided to just focus on Kubo and Coraline, so yeah. It was super fun to do!
Based on a crossover Cmanuel1 made of Code Lyoko/Laika.

There's a theme of a supernatural being in a authorial position hunting both Kubo and Coraline
Plus, Kubo's missing an eye and the Other Mother wants Coraline to sew buttons into her eyes

Hmm, there were ghosts in Coraline, and spirits in Kubo, so I can see ParaNorman being connected quite nicely as well
Basically, I theorize that first Kubo first took place in the timeline, in about pre-1800s Japan, while the events of The Boxtrolls happened in Britain, probably in the reign of Queen Victoria. In about 2008, the events of Coraline happened, and then the events that transpired in ParaNorman happened in October 2011.
