Description
Client: eBay Guarenteed Sketch WinnerMedia: PITT Pen, COPIC marker, and Dr. Ph Martin's Bleed-proof White on Strathmore Drawing paper.
We've instituted a program wherein anyone who wishes to can try to get a guarenteed sketch from me at every appearance. It's not a perfect system, but anything I can do to prevent the STAMPEDE on Day One of any show, I will attempt.
This is from the SpringCon auction; even though we had to cancel the appearance, we elected to honor the auction if the buyer still wishes to have a piece.

Adam has a yahoo group called "Hughes-Fans". It has over 7,000 members and we post all of these sorts of updated there. Shortly adam's website will be updated, and I'll post about the auctions there as well. But you can register a search on ebay for "adam hughes guaranteed sketch" and then ebay will notify you every time one goes up.

A beautiful sketch of a very athletic Felicia Hardy. I am a very happy viewer, but not as happy as the winner, I expect.

Is it me, or did your skill in using markers increase? I'm comparing your older works of Black Cat with this one, and there's definitely more talent in the hair.

Simply Amazing Adam! I would kill to have one of your copic made sketches. Unfortunately subscribing to such auction would be impossible for me, as I live too far and have nobody that could pick up the original.
Brilliant sir!!!

Her hair looks incredibly soft to the touch--how did you make it seem like that?

AdamHughes In reply to Mirkitsune [2010-06-13 02:06:05 +0000 UTC]
Just a lot of wet-on-wet markers to get a soft, blended feel, and then a bit of white ink to give it some shape & clarity.
