Description
This is a convention sketch I did for Carrie Fisher, back in November 2006 in NYC. We were seated next to each other, and every time she had to leave her table she had to bump behind my chair, apologizing. We ended up having fun, so I did this sketch for her. STAR WARS was a very big deal for me growing up!Related content

*fave'd ... 46 faves in 10 minutes, by the way, d'ya think this guy's popular, folks? {g}*
Truly hilarious. I've seen exactly this kind of barely hidden — and not always so — air of insouciant boredom among other celebrities at cons.
Not that they don't appreciate their fans, but they have understandable human limits. (Artists, though, rarely seem to be this way.)

Heh Yes, THIS guy is very popular
BTW the insouciant boredom I sometimes think means "My God, what have we done..." looking at the gazillion of people at conventions all dressed like their heroes

Very funny sketch.
Sitting next to Carrie Fisher... Would you ever have thought that even remotely possible the first time you watched Star Wars? How happily surreal can life get?
