Media: Media: Pencil, PITT Pen and COPIC marker on Strathmore Drawing paper, then colored with Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Here's my UNCHARTED cover, done for SONY as a giveaway poster at San Diego Comic-Con 2011, and then used as a variant cover for DC Comics' UNCHARTED comic last month. The Drake face is different than the poster version: I redid it because I didn't think I came close to the way Drake looks in the game. This is a little closer, but it usually takes me 5 to 7 attempts before I get close to a character.

I love the UNCHARTED games. This cover was designed as an homage to Drew Struzan's INDIANA JONES movie posters. Imagine my surprise when Drew himself was standing at my table at San Diego, saying hi and thumbing through my portfolio...

A really beautiful piece Adam. Thank you! I'm quite frustrated because I can't find the variant cover for comic #1 in the Uncharted Comic series anywhere! Only 1 has shown on ebay.com and ebay.co.uk, and all the major online comic stores are either sold out of it or never got it in stock...

What leads you to assume it's before Drake's Fortune? It's just a sort of generic UNCHARTED image that SONY asked me to do.

I read somewhere (Uncharted wikia?) that this cover was for a story before the events of Drakes Fortune, in which part of it is focused on the relationship between Drake and Chloe (pre Among Thieves).

I hope I've not spoiled anything... :/

Well, neither SONY nor DC Comics told me the content of the comic when they hired me to do this; they just said 'make it iconic'. All I know is what I'm told.

Beautiful work overall, but I really liked the original face more... I might get flamed for this, but thie one feel maybe a little overworked. The first one felt more like Nate to me. Other than that, lovely. I'm so happy I have this in poster form from SDCC.

Great job! It reminds me the posters for the Indiana Jones movies. Also captures the nature of the game, its adventure spirit, adrenaline and the personality of the characters. Wish I had it in my wall... Who knows, maybe ill find a way to get it

Definitely harkens to Struzan's work on Indy-- but still retains that definite look and style that is completely yours!

(And Uncharted-- in my opinion-- is definitely the best console gaming experience I've ever had! Love the whole series!!!)
