It's not much anyway but next time try to match the expression of the character in the ref with its description. I say this because here Ben looks (sorry if I say it) sad and quite unconfident and when we look at the descriptions he doesn't really match. Refs should also portray the general emotion of the character (in this case he should appear confident and lively) so that whoever draws him knows which kind of topics fit him the most.
Yeah, I'm not an expert in this things but that's what I think. Then the choice is up to you
