Description
I've got an idea... What if I throw away the concept of rendering a starship with 3DSMax in front of a background of a planet with a positioned light, and rather use the Terragen for rendering the whole bunch of stuff. This way, I can render a realistic planet in the size I want and if its necessary I can render an atmospherical scene as well. The result I got is quiet fascinating... However, I still have to work on the textures... As you can see, I forgot to associate some of them with the model xD
Unfortunately, the Terragen can't import, just OBJ models files... And in some cases, the converted models getting, sooo messed up... Just like here, especially around the windows... I need to find a solution to clean up that mess... Looks ugly this way.
Anyway, I'm gonna improve this technique, cuz it's cool and easier to make a realistic render.
Model: Mark Kingsnorth
