Does it come in all-red?
I'm writing my Clone Wars fic for an all-volunteer Republic force whose ships are all-red like the Judicial Forces. I figured the T-42, due to its numerical name, came about in that time period. So it is my primary starfighter for my pilots.

Overall the design is very Incom (starwars), down to the (bad) weapon placement.Β Following cannon designs this ship would fit in on a rebel alliance hanger deck
Though it would go against cannon designs I think the laser cannons should be closer to the main cockpit because as is the convergence of the weapons can be difficult to work with (this is why I think the TIE fighter, or Naboo starfighter weapon placement being superior).

Looks almost like a Lance (from Knights of the Old Republic), but width ways instead of vertically. Β Nice, though.

It comes from a graphic novel series, Knights of the Old Republic. Β It's rather a good read. Β I'm a little obsessed about it, as I've done fanart of it loads of times, and am in the middle of some from it today. Β It follows the adventures of a padawan called Zayne Carrick, on the run. Β It's set some years before the events of the first kotor game. Β Lancers are small ships, kinda like x-wings. Β Your design kinda reminded me of them.

It looks nice, but I don't really see the F in it. I'd imagine an F wing to be less symmetrical.

Adam, you never cease to amaze me with your designs. This is a great design one that would've fix extremely well into the Clone Wars. More so than the ARC-170 imo.Β

Yeah I was always kinda disappointed with the ARC as it seemed just like a fancy X-Wing and not something simpler and less advanced. I will create a cockpit for this one for sure so be on lookout for that

Yeah I understand that they tried to have a connection to the original trilogy in Episode 3 with the ship designs, but in all reality they went too far, some of the designs seemed a little too advanced and in some ways more advanced than later designs. The ARC-170 and the Venator are prime examples of this.Β
I'll indeed be on the lookout, I can't wait.
