So, it looks like we’ve come full circle on net neutrality... again!
Some probably remember my previous journal entry:
Net Neutrality! And Money! Some probably remember this issue from little over 2 years ago. Here was my previous journal:
:thumb514456421:So, while I’m not a fan of big assumed federal government, I’m also not a fan of oligopolies. Crony Capitalism is just as bad as Democratic Socialism. That said, eBay sent a message linking to https://netneutrality.internetassociation.org/action/?utm_medium=web&utm_source=ebay&utm_campaign=nn-action and Etsy sent a message which linked to https://www.battleforthenet.com/?utm_source=etsy&campaign_label=recommended_features&utm_source=adhoc&utm_campaign=2017_07_12-ADV-Sellers-InternetSlowDownSeller-AERIKSON&utm_medium=email .On the h... fav.me/dbgv248
The oligopolies are hard at work to make sure they get as much of your money as possible, particularly the telecom and federal industries, (especially when the work so closely together... like sleeping in the same bed with the FCC’s chair being a former lawyer for Verizon).
Fortunately, you can do something, make your voice heard! Here’s some notable avenues:
Here’s an article describing how to file a comment on the FCC website: venturebeat.com/2017/05/08/how…
Here’s the relevant proceeding on the FCC’s website: www.fcc.gov/ecfs/search/procee…
“Do Not Repeal Net Neutrality” petition on Whitehouse.gov: petitions.whitehouse.gov/petit…
Call your representative through Battleforthenet.com:
www.battleforthenet.com/?subje…
Moveon.org petition:
pac.petitions.moveon.org/sign/…
And if you’re feeling energetic or have a Verizon store nearby, check out the details under this deviation:

That’s all for now. I’m still working on the SubShed, (nearly complete), and preparing Mane and Tail patterns for Etsy! ...As well as another pattern still in the works. ^^

"......net neutrality........and remember guys-
TURMOIL IS MAGIC!"
LOL Yeah, I just had to throw that in there. It's sad that people don't want to manage net neutrality properly.
Also, I sent you an email.

True, but it's quite a complicated thing. It certainly needs to be handled with care for sure.
I got it, and I have to say I think the solid text definitely gives it much more pop.

Have you or anybody you know ever had a 1980's pocket computer?

No one I know. Unless they have but I didn't know that they had. There was a guy named Tom that was going to our congregation for a little bit that looked like he was in his late 60s that still works as a certain type of Java programmer from what I understand. But he also grew up on a farm, so perhaps not, but I can't say for certain.
Also, RD's mane and tail are complete! Just got to sew the wings and sew all the pieces together.

This really shouldn't be happening again. They know if they repeal it, all hell will break loose in court lawsuits. Dern FCC...

Yes, technically only Congress can change the law, (however slowly it happens, whether for better or worse).

Yeah, my brother will not stop talking about net neutrality and how it might change again. I don't see why they're trying to do this. There's going to be a HUGE backlash and they're going to regret it.

Oh, I'm sure it will as long as lobbyists are allowed to exits. Personally, I'm waiting for an open and independently developed technology that virtually topples the multi-trillion dollar industry, even if it means corporate war.
Which is to say, yes, the regret will come from one backlash or another.

Greed is a terrible thing ;_;

Just like 1 Tim. 6:10 says, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." Most people get the first part of this verse wrong, but it shows both the greed and the regret. The verses prior are also notably applicable of course. ^^
