I've talked before about how much I love this character, having discovered comics and, by extension, awesomeness itself, through reading The Flash starting in 1990. Little known Flash did-bit: right before Mark Waid launched the greatest modern Flash story ever(The Return of Barry Allen), Flash editor Brian Augustyn dropped a veiled hint about the coming story; in his preview for the upcoming Christmas issue, he said we might even see the guy in the red suit. Sure enough, that issue ends with Barry Allen, seemingly back from the dead, showing up at Wally's to celebrate with he, Jay and the gang.

So, in the spirit of still loving those stories, I'm dedicating my december to the guy in the red suit; one a day, all month long. I still want to draw a Flash book someday (and write it), so here's to a month of trying to find my stride. Happy Holidays!
