"Into the fray" is actually more of a Groo sentiment, but it seemed to fit the image here. This is Miyamoto Usagi, in case you aren't familiar, the title character of Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo. Sakai is a gem of the comics world; he's been faithfully crating this ongoing reflective samurai epic for decades now, weaving together well-researched japanese history, Kurasawa films, and superbly crafted anthro comic art. I came across some Usagi art while puttering around the web today, and decided to show Sakai some love; he's a true hero of indy comics, and guys like him inspire me to keep at it.
