I know the fans are polarized about the ending of noatak and tarrlok, but i think it's tragic to think that was the only out, to kill, i believe that amon had a noble idea, but his methods were flawed. They both didn't have a choice about their powers or blood-bending, that was sad. But on the other hand, they are not real, they are cartoon characters, but thats's not to say our feelings for them weren't real. This edit was not intended to hurt anyone.

Indeed, if anyone else was in their position (making the Bending world real for a moment here) they'd probably do the same things they did. Yet I don't see why Tarrlok had to do what he did at the end. True it provided a heart-breaking ending, but why? They could have gone with Noatak's plan and started a new life, the two of them. They saw the error in trying to take over the city in a fit of revenge by training their kids so they wouldn't try to do what their dad did to them to their kids (if any).
Also the edit didn't hurt me, if anything it lifted a bit of the sadness from me. Seeing Pinkie and the Brain applied to this scene implies Cartoon-Physics to the scenario. As all Cartoon-Physics explosions, the persons in the explosions survived and life to plot again. This is just my reaction though.

I hadn't considered the cartoon-physics part of it, i just thought that's how it happened so work the explosion into the rest of the pictures thank you for bringing that up.
I believe the reason they killed of naotok and tarrlok was to create sympathy for these 'villains' not just because of their back stories but because they had no future, in terms of there were who they were, whether they meant to be that way or not and nothing could change that. effective ending as fans did feel sorry for them for that reason too. I'm glad I didn't hurt you either, i didn't know until you said.

SO AWESOME SO HILARIOUS! Very clever! I loved it, I mean I'm sad Noatak/Amon and Tarrlok died but this was perfection and hilarity!

I'm sorry they are gone too, i enjoyed them both and such tragic lives, forced to blood-bend and fight each other, thank you very much for commenting, I know the fans had mixed feelings at the end, love/hate and some people think i posted this because i don't like the series, but I DO, i REALLY enjoy the stories, this is just what came into my mind afterwards.

I know, I know, but i had to do it. I don't hate, it is an excellent cartoon series that makes you care about the characters and think, but they aren't real, even if our feelings for them are.
