Hehe, if you're talking about that one on the right, there was no pipe at all! It's all painted! The completely black circle surrounded by the dark grey makes the illusion!

Of course there are specialized spray cans and tips for these kinds of things, offering lowering pressure thus greater control, but the basic rule is that the closer you hold the spray can to the surface, the thinner the line it produces. So clean lines are a result of special low pressure spray cans, special tips for thin lines and holding the spray can as close to the wall as possible. And of course PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

Well I use "94" and "ALIEN" series from Montana Colors (spanish brand), but there are other good brands out there like Montana Cans (german brand), Belton, IronLak etc. I suggest you try out some of them and go with what suits you better (economically too!)
