Beautiful... I had no idea such a thing existed, although I suppose it makes sense for it to like in any other animal.

I have since seen an albino Emu and several albino Kangaroos.

I was reading about the white peacocks, it's not actually that they are albino, but purely white... I knew about it happening in other animals (horses and the like, mostly... I'm afraid peacocks are a bit out of my range! ) - there's albinism, a condition caused by the lack of pigment, and then there is white, bred through a recessive gene.

the textures in this shot are so great... the only strange thing is the small amount of ground in the bottom left corner... it's a bit distracting and takes away from the stunning whiteness.

Thank you very much. Yes I agree, but it is because of the angel from which the photo was taken. I thought about cropping the bottom off, but it didn't work.

He was at an fauna park in Perth, Western Australia. I think they are fairly rare, but I've seen a few on dA.
