Description
To learn a little more about my visit to Perth Zoo in Western Australia, please follow this link to my journal. [link]Grant's Zebra
Equus quagga boehmi
Zebra are a familiar sight on the savannah and form a large part of the diet of lions, hyaneas, and hunting dogs. At present their status is 'Secure'. There are three species of zebra in Africa, each with their own distinctive markings.
I find his bottom very attractive.

Well thank you very much. You have a very unusual gallery. I have never come across anyone who photographs belts before.

I loved yours and remembered it as soon as I walked to the zebra enclosure. I couldn't resist doing one myself.

I actually copied the shot myself.... I bought a book on Understanding Exposure and one of the shots was of a zebra's butt. I love to try and get the same effect as other pictures I've seen....helps me learn new techniques that I can apply in other situations.

Gosh, they have the most amazing markings. I don't think I've ever inspected a zebra's bottom so closely before!
