Description
This dear little frog was resting inside the watering can and you can tell by his expression that he didn't think much about being disturbed. He is a Western banjo frog or Pobblebonk Limnodynastes dorsalis. His call is a single deep explosive 'bonk' similar to that made by a banjo string.

Sadly, all the tadpoles disappeared from our pond last week. I think a kookaburra must have had a good feed. They were just developing their back legs.

Jim wanted to use the watering can so that is how he was discovered. Jim rushed up to the house and told me to bring my camera.
