Thank you very much. I could probably do that sort of thing faster in Photoshop these days, but I got a lot of satisfaction after spending several ours working on this.

Yep... I guess it was a lot faster in PS but being handmade gives you greater satisfaction.

This is a very well stated abstract capture and re-capture. Nice thinking.

Thank you
I do have the odd weird idea. I used to do this sort of things in my dark room, but now I'm learning to use Photoshop, watch out for more
I dug this one up from the depth of my gallery

I would like to spend more time here to, but I'm still on dial-up and can't tie up the phone for hours. So I get up in the wee small hours of the morning :d.

wow1 is this possible in a darkroom? you know some tutorials of darkroompossibilities? maybe? ^^

AdamsWife In reply to ill23 [2006-07-18 22:24:34 +0000 UTC]
Yes this was done in a darkroom by making two different sized prints. Cut out the mouth of the larger print and pop the small print behind the hole. Rephotograph and print.
I should imagine that these days a lot of people could do this in Photoshop.

I'm hoping to do more browsing when I get broadband. I'm not usually connected at this time of day, but I couldn't wait to get the new Busselton Jetty into my gallery. I find my short time on the internet is spent answering comments, reading journals and commenting on a few new submissions from my dA friends. I am very behind with that part.

OOh, scary this one, great concept!!! It would be interesting to repeat it over and over, until it gets so small you can no longer fit one inside the other!!!
