Very freaky and disturbing. Nice idea, but you're weird.

You aren't the first one to think that. But what is really scary is that my son and his daughter (my granddaughter) are even weirder. They try to out-do me I think.

It's funny when I see this. When I was working I knew a guy named Guimond who was keeping thousands of pic parts cut fron many sources in large thin drawers. The only photographs he made was his montages. He was a kind of genious.
And your is very good

Thank you. Reminds me of the hundreds of rubbishy slides that I keep, in the hope they will make a good image with another piece of rubbish one day.

nice! i love the idea of taking photographs of manually-manipulated photographs; this is a good idea for it as well. those drops of water are crazy! were those placed on top of the composite of the two photos? i like the idea of that as well, because it gives a sort of connecting relationship between the two similar images, while still maintaing difference within the connection itself. what i mean is that the water connects the larger and smaller images, yet the pattern of the water on each of the images is different; this creates an interesting connection between the two images that really becomes an important aspect of the whole piece. i think that without this very subtle link that the water provides here, the resulting piece would not be half as powerful as it is here. very well done! favorite.

Wow! Thank you for your very thorough comment. Yes the water drops were put on the photo just before rephotographing. Clever of you to work that out.

Heh, gives new meaning to the phrase "In your face!"..
Extremely striking and slightly alarming image. Kudos, too, for achieving such a great result given the entirely physical nature of the process used. Every photoshop whiz kid should try this just once to appreciate just how easy they have it.
Great stuff Eve!

You get a great deal of satisfaction after spending hours, manually manipulating photos and you finally get one that works.
