Description
Hope you'll pardon the rather crappy cellphone pic, but here's one of my better con sketches from last weekend's Motor City Comic-Con, depicting a kindly commisioner's original character rendered via Sharpie markers with red and (non-repro) blue pencil. Not fond of how her lower face turned out, but the photoreferenced shading on her torso worked out well. (Hey, gotta get that life-drawing practice in whenever I can.)Related content

I say this with the purest intentions. The highlights on the chest scales look really cool

This is pretty darn cool. That's some awesome shaping for her body in the pencil and for that outfit.

I like how her face has come out - A cosplayer having fun, rather than a barbarian thief, but I like cosplayer.
Especially the prospect of crossing them at night is definitely more pleasant than that of crossing the path of a barbarian thief armed with an axe...
Ever since I passed 40, I prefer sexy and friendly to sexy and lethal.
