From a few years ago, a pin-up I drew for a special issue of the POWERPUFF GIRLS comic, which featured a number of guest artists contributing their own takes on the PPGs. (Mignola ponied up an especially kickass Mojo Jojo, if I recall correctly.)I gather that my version of the Girls makes them look a mite too old, but what the heck...
I have a vague recollection of a colored version of this piece lurking somewhere on DA, but I'm too tired to bother looking for it. (The bleeping nor'easter flooded my cellar, big time, and I spent most of today pumping out the noisome floodwaters... Ick.)

I saw someone do a color version of this...maybe it was through Robert Dejesus *Banzchan and that's when I got all excited and thought...ZOMG Adam Warren is on Deviant Art!!1! But I looked around and found that you weren't around then.
And that's my little memory on this charming rendition of The Power Puff Girls. I like it. Especially Blossom and usually the other two are my favorite (for thier personalities - especially Bubbles).

I know what it's like to have to pump out the water in the basement. I just hope that none of your work was in the basement. I have had many drawing that I will never be able to recreate be destroyed like that, most done when I was very young and first got into art.

I know I've seen a colorized version of this and I think it's even somewhere on DA. But I just did a search on PPG and there are 7711 entries!
Doing either an anime-style or "realistic" version seems to have been a popular exercise going way back before PPGz. (There are many examples among the aforementioned 7711...) But *this* has always been one of my favorites, along with Bleedman's version for his web-doujinshi [ [link] ] and Danny Sulca's [ [link] ], both from '04. (Maybe I should look for some more...)
I've not followed the show very closely, but the characters just look like so much fun in your drawing!

At least the flood waters were mearly noisome and not gibbering and scaeberous, nor possessing extra dimensions or conforming to a non-Euclidean geometery....
If you find any unwholsome statuary of an unknown greenish stone washed ashore in it, let me know.

Hey! Japan made a version of PPG (PPGz), now YOU should make a version of PPGz: APPG (Adam's PPG) then Japan copy them back in APPGz, them...

As a big Craig McCracken fan, I gotta say that this would likely make for a much better anime adaptation of his work. Bravo!
