Description
The first of a few pages of sketches for an Avatar pinup I'm working on. This page features Azula and her girls Mai and Ty Lee, Appa and Momo, and Suki the Kyoshi Warrior.These doodles will be arranged and finnessed into a final rough that I'll trick out with some final pencils and eventually color.
I do this sometimes when I'm working on a collage setup - work up a thumbnail I like, but draw each element individually. It can make composition a little trickier to squeeze, but it helps get each element of the piece where I like it.
