Description
The first of a few pages of sketches for an Avatar pinup I'm working on. This page features some of my favorite characters - Toph, Uncle Iroh, the 3 faces of Zuko, Jet and his posse, the Guru (who's really rough and without any character details), and King Bumi.

These doodles will be arranged and finnessed into a final rough that I'll trick out with some final pencils and eventually color.

I do this sometimes when I'm working on a collage setup - work up a thumbnail I like, but draw each element individually. It can make composition a little trickier to squeeze, but it helps get each element of the piece where I like it.
