I don't hate Hal Jordan at all. He was my guy for a long, long time when I was a kid. I don't care for the way he's been turned into this perfect, untouchable deity of a character lately, or the way he's been made into the center of the Green Lantern world and everything revolves around him. What I liked about Hal was how flawed he was, not that he was "perfect". If he was written more like Han Solo, I'd enjoy his stories more.

So I guess it's just the butt-crazy Hal fanboys that make me nuts.

Yeah, I agree. Too perfect can get really boring. As for me, I may be a bit of a Hal fanboy...but I do like Kyle and Kilowog alot too. Those are my 3 favorite GLs. I also like Sallak, John, and Arisia. Alan Scott's cool too, even though he's not part of the corps. Although technically neither is Hal these days...

Well, thanks. That's a great compliment - nothing better than fans wanting to see more of you on a book they love. I wouldn't mind that job at all, BTW; drawing Green Lantern would be a dream!

Oh, there has to be some Green Lantern you like! It's what always attracted me to the concept - there are a bajillion of them! There's gotta be ONE GL for everybody that they can think is pretty cool.

Yeah! Do that! I'm a Kyle Rayner guy, m'self, but there are a lot of GL's that I like. John's one of them. Actually, Hal's just about my LEAST favorite GL. Huh.

I like Kyle. I like John. I can't stand Guy, I loathe Hal. The only reason I've ever mention to write him, is so the 'other' majority of GL fans won't feel like I'm dismissing him completely, although if I could I'd go without him (XD)

I like Guy, but specifically because he's a colossal a-hole. When used as part of an ensemble, he provides the d-bag voice that can lead to much humor and some great interactions. So I guess I like him as a writer's device to create character interplay more than as a person, but when dealing with fictional characters it's all the same thing, right?

I suppose, but then I'd have to keep color supplies with me at every con, and then I'd have to force myself to hold back from using TOTAL color when I want to add just a little more and then just a little more and so on and so on and so on into infinity. I know myself enough to recognize a slippery slope when I see one. Better to have none than to tempt myself with some.

Ohhh how I know what you mean....that's why I haven't got myself into WOW or other MMoO's and RPG's....I learned my lesson (for now) with anime.
