Taken at the Phoenix Zoo. There were two hummingbirds that visited this plant in close succession. They were largely ignored for the giraffe exhibit.All materials in this gallery may not be reproduced, copied, edited, published, transmitted, or uploaded in any way without my written permission.

You will. This wasn't my first attempt. The first time I tried last summer I had the wrong lens on. Even now it took many many shots to get a few good ones.

Gorgeous shot! I love the way his little legs and feet are so tucked up that you can't even tell they are there Beautifuyl capture!

Thank you very much! They're adorable little creatures. I was lucky to catch a few good shots of both of the hummingbirds and they both kept their little legs like that. My guess is that this one is a female, because it wasn't as colorful as the other one.
