Working on a new project, modeling a superhero, moving towards organic modeling in Mudbox.Using an Edgeloop modeling approach for creating the body (instead of box-modeling) consensus so far: Harder, forces you to really plan out your model ahead of time

yeah, he's a tough one... he only looks slightly exaggerated in the model sheet, but the minute you start making a 3D model you realize how incredibly bull-necked he is... don't get me started on his FAB-ulous legs, that's coming up next

no, luckily, but Paul helped me sort out a lot of stuff with the head. The torso I made today, all by myself 
On to the legs! gonna have to mess around with the model sheet before I do the arms, they need to be more than 45' away from the body...

Good luck with the arms, I wonder how you are going to edit the reference picture thou?

rotate the entire reference 45' to the right, see if that works
failing that, create a T-pose in photo-shop with a lot of cutting and pasting. Either way, I'm going to need to fudge a top-down view of the arm... always another hidden chunk of work...
