Osprey screaming an alarm as I am peaking around the corner to snap a pic (wild bird) . . . . they are incredibly difficult to sneak up on. . . this one was sitting on a pole at a marina in FloridaThanks for looking

that's awesome .... they are starting to have trouble fishing out in BC due to all the watercraft on the lakes ... hope it isn't like that down there too

Haha, yeah. I'm in the middle of adding new folders and possibly renaming a few to make it more clear for people.

HEY, I have a little family of these nesting near my apartment complex-atop a cell phone tower- they been there off and on about 5 years now-the area is pocketed with small lakes and ponds so I guess its a good spot for them....

Yep . . . they do like the cell phone towers !! I luv to watch them !! There are quite a few around my area as well. Definitely one of my fave birds !!

very skittish !!! i snapped this one shot & it was off like a bolt of lightening !!! it did come back about an hour later but unfortunately i was not as well hidden as i thought. . . it spotted me and landed to far away for me to get any more shots

There was one down by where I used to live in Florida who wasn't scared of people at all. I think it was because he was so big and old that he just didn't care anymore.

i saw one in NC diving straight through a wave and when it came out the other side it had a fish in its talons! it was amazing
