Description Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean : Curse of the Black Pearl.

I worked on this for so long now, it must have been close to a month...

I used a reference photo, of course. I took some liberties so I didn't need to go so dark with it.
Size 26,5 X 25 cm, pencils 2H-3B, finished 27.10-04

That’s a great portrait, you really managed to capture all the little details. I love the wrinkles on his hat. You’re are just like me by the way, I don’t want to use too soft pencils either it better to press harder I think.

Yeah, I can see by your portraits you like the hard leads too. I think the B-pencils can provide a fantastic result, but it's all to do with what you are confortable with using yourself.
