Description
Since I've drawn the good, fun side of being out on the sea, I thought it would be time to balance it out a bit. After all, they are always living on the edge. The dark side of mother nature. A fisherman's nightmare.
Part of my series on crabfishing:
Donβt Let Go
Fisherman
Tanner Taxi
Pencils 2H to 3B, size A3, took me roughly a week. Finished 17. december 2008. Mostly freehand, own ref's for the guy's clothes and hands.

Hehe, I think he looks downright scary, like he's the one who caused all this.

Aw, thank you. It's kind of hard to draw extreme expressions without making it look goofy. So it's good to know it has an impact, even if it's sadness.

Great drawing! You've completely managed to express the fear and all emotions in that very dramatic moment!

Thanks a lot! Glad to hear you think I've succeeded in the expression, that was the most important with this one.
