The reference is a gif of Nesbitt winking to the camera in an outtake to his song "The Man in the Moon...", performed in the Rivendell-scene in the extended edition of "An Unexpected Journey". Meaning of course that the photo in question was small and blurry...

Yeah, it got a bit silly just staring at the gif forever because of its awesomeness, so I thought I might just as well draw it... And have a valid reason to stare at it for hours.

It seems like the actors were having the time of their lives while filming. I'm glad Peter Jackson and CO put out so much background material with the blogs and all, he knows how to feed the fans with what they want!

I liked number 9, Christopher Eccleston and ten, David Tennant. After that I kind of lost interrest. It's not bad or anything, it's just... different.
My favourite from the original series must be the seventh, Sylvester McCoy and Mel. I found him quite delightful!

I've not finished Sylvester McCoy's years because i kind of lost interest because things were different.
I love Sylvester though! But Colin Baker(6th) was my absolute favorite

That's the thing with Doctor Who, it goes over so many decades, actors, writers etc that it's always changing. It's bound to get disappointing at times, 'cause suddenly everything's different than what it was. There's really no other show like it in that manner!
I'm about to work my way through number six now, so I guess I have some fun ahead.

I've had problems with my wrists and arms for as long as I can remember, so it's nothing new or dangerous, as long as I don't overextend myself.
And I got one more drawing up my sleeve, but I'm going to take my sweet time with it and don't rush to get it finished.
