yea people who have fun drawing/painting yield a better picture... how long did it take to paint?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

adAvlis In reply to batoma [2009-02-27 08:32:51 +0000 UTC]

I started it one summer and stopped for a long time due to school. And after that time (almost a year I think) I restarted it with new ideas and finished it quite quickly, like a week or so...
I often can't remeber how long do I take with my paintings and this one had weird timings

batoma In reply to adAvlis [2009-03-19 03:23:30 +0000 UTC]

heh I wish I could do that more often, keep your wierd timings up, sometimes I never stop drawing a pic until its finished and they always end up not as good.

Thank you!
But my chances are thin. Thera are more than 100 artists participating and there are a lot of bigger canvas (much bigger than mine). Thats a determinant factor for the jury's choice, unfortunately.

I'll let you know the result

You're welcome friend!
Bigger canvases don't make a painting good; it's the quality of the painting that makes it good.

I also agree with that
But the art critics, besides being inclined to choose something of their preference, they also like to be impressed by magnitude.

It's the opinion I have, but I could be mistaken

Hey!
Just to let you know about my failure to win anything.

I wasn't even selected to participate in the exibition.. But I was expecting this since the beginning, so..
Maybe next time

I will tell you like I tell my students:
You have to take your loses as challenges to get better.
