Try using a yellow or brown lighting and like make it light up the egdes of the characters. making it look like there is a light coming at them I love that effect personally.

Brings alot of life. experiment with it and you'll see

When you go into the lighting effects there should be a box on the left side, click it and you should be able to pick different colours
