I really like this character of yours. I don't know anything about him beyond his name, but here's what I assume about his character: Though he may appear limp and weak, he's got a strong spirit and sense of justice. He could also be a very loving and caring being, seeing as his head is heart-shaped and his shield is pink with a heart on it. Seeing his face, however, he may not be so open about his feelings towards others. Also, I really like how his eyes shine and his outfit. :]

As for your picture, I really love the textures, the contrast, and the solid forms of everything, especially in his shield and eyes. I can see from the previous comments that you intended to show him flying, but I'm a little confused. Seeing the wind's effect on his clothes makes it obvious as to which direction he's moving in, but I feel like it could be improved more. I think to help show that he's flying, you should position Macabro in the upper right corner and have some empty space to the left.

Also, the orb of light should be reflecting light a little more intensely on the nearby objects, like the parts of the weapon and maybe a ray of softer light on top of Macabro's hood. And the contrast in the leaves attached to his head could be higher. C:

You've done it again, my friend, this is a nice picture! But the only thing that bothers me a little is the pose...is he flying? Falling? Preparing to strike? Whatever it is, it perplexes me, but at least it doesn't distract from the detail you put in the picture. And I must say, this is some good character design!
