Waking moments;Within each second I become, breath;
I’m taken away in an instance.
There is no solid death and no permanent sleep.
What’s in your eyes?
In mine I find electricity and swampy blue sheets of satin water.
I wake and become pulsed to life without any cosmic strain.
Into this heat I slip and cauterize into flesh.
I see beyond all levels as I wake.
I chant in a sacred inhale,
no angels, no devils
purely nontoxic exhale.
I have a chance to choose,
why and what it is I came here for.
Do I leave behind all hated bruises,
and pass light in and out of a windy door.
It’s time to return to a waking moment again and again breaking a tumbled slumber.
