Nova is known to be quite the charmer, his intoxicating fun loving optimism is what makes it so easy for him to not only make friends with others rather easily, but for him to also be the center of attention and the excitement. Nova Sound practically feeds off the good vibes and atmosphere, if it's not there? He'll do everything he can to change that, to make those frowns turn upside down. Nova is a good guy to look for when feeling down, his beaming happiness usually helps one feel better after a bad day. Ladies beware, Nova isn't scared to use his charm. History

Nova Sound was born and raised for a time in Manehattan, a lively and bustling city where his parents worked out of, thriving on the musical aspects of the city. Nova's father Jazz was, you guessed it, a jazz musician. His mother Midnight Harmony was a professional singer and and aspiring actress who was beginning to make herself known on the stage. How the two met was a simple but sweet way, one day Midnight Harmony was just having one of those days in show biz where nothing was going right for her, she couldn't find any gigs or plays and her manager just couldn't bring her any good news. It was one of those days where she wondered if she was really cut out for acting, so she went out on the town one night just needing something to pick her up, and what other way would be a nice dinner at her favorite restaurant? The restaurant often had live musical performances and listening to the other musicians playing often lifted her spirits while she ate her comfort food. That night Jazz happened to be playing with his little jazz band, and needless to say Midnight Harmony was quite taken by the stallion, and after the performance she went to go talk to them and it was from there on the two were totally taken with one another.
For a while Midnight Harmony and Jazz happily lived out their lives in Manehattan, living out their lives as musicians, and for some time it was just that. Until Midnight Harmony found out she was pregnant after she suddenly became very ill one fateful fall day. Needless to say the two were shocked and not prepared to be parents, but after some talk the two soon to be parents soon became thrilled to be parents. Jazz and Midnight tied the knot while she was carrying their babies, and prepared for their newborns to arrive.
Nova Sound and his twin brother Dapper Dancer were thus born one spring day, Nova a Pagasi like his mother and Dapper an Earth pony like Jazz. Midnight and Jazz were content to raise their children in their apartment, but as their foals grew older and Nova began started to test out his wings Midnight Harmony grew concerned that a place like Manehattan was no place to raise their twin colts. So Jazz deemed his childhood home of Dappleton would be a wonderful place for them to raise their foals, so the family packed up their bags and moved to Dappleton where Jazz opened up "BEATS" to provide for the family in the smaller town. Nova later took over "BEATS" from his father when he became old enough, and later Dapper Dancer moved back to Manehattan to try out his luck in show biz like his parents once had.

Other:
    - Nova Sound is an avid flyer, but he is mostly self taught or taught by his mother, so he isn't anywhere near close to being an ace.
    - Since he's from Manehattan he does have a bit of an accent, though it's faded over the years he's lived in Dappleton. (Imagine a twinge of a New Yoker's accent.)
    - Nova has a dream to one day follow his brother to Manehattan to make it big as a singer, but for now he stays in Dappleton for the sake of the family store.
