Cannon Beach, Oregon.I was lucky enough to come out and take some photos today while visiting family in Portland.
It was a perfect day.
You may have seen this rock several times. there was another view from the north that was the main ocean shot featured in the 1985 movie "The Goonies". There is also a kia commercial showing nationwide featuring a shot of a minivan driving on the beach with this rock in the background.

hmm, Indiana Jones and the last crusade? thats the only one i can think of. he flaps his umbrella and takes out a plane with the birds.
