Girl - Prologue

What’s the use of saying that I once loved when it‘s already gone? What’s the use of saying that it was happy, or that it was sad? What’s the use?
(pause)
Where have I been all this time? Have I always been imagining things inside my mind? Did I only listen to what I wanted to hear from the beginning?
(Scratches her ears nervously)
What’s the use of my talking if people will listen, but not myself? Myself does not want to listen to me anymore. My self does not like my company, yet no other company satisfies it.

Scene I
A bus-station, two people sitting but they do not look like they are waiting. Busses come and go.

Alien: So, you are not together now?
Girl: nope
Alien: Then why do you talk to him?
Girl: Because I am stupid, why else? It’s because I don’t like to lose people.
Alien(looking at a woman in the bus): Look at this woman, why the hell is she putting on her veil like this? She looks like a clown.
Girl: A clown has to have more colors than this. But I don’t feel alright talking to him, I want to hurt him.
Alien: who?
Girl: Him.
Alien: Then don’t talk to him. You can talk to him later. Why talk to him to begin with, he’s not that important, he’s not one of us. He’s stiff and he likes geometry. Once you say a metaphor, he’ll probably turn it into an equation. He likes to talk about physics and lives on science.
Girl: I thought he was one of us.
Alien: That’s because you think that everyone is one of us.
Girl: People come and go in the bus. I don’t think I will ever see any of these again. There’s more than 5 million people in this city. I only know about 100. It’s sad.

(Alien lights a cigarette)

Girl: Let’s go sit somewhere else.
