History

Mamba was born to Vindict and Quicksilver. Two travelers who came as ship cats to Africa. The two were mated for a short time. Quicksilver spoke of a place far off in the desert where cats were free from people. they lived with structure and had been led by an old sick eyed cat. Vindict thought keenly of the place and followed Quicksilver there.
Upon reaching the oasis Quicksilver gave birth to Mamba and Palm (her second litter after Cobra, Hyena, and Caracal) Mamba was a strong vital kit with the shape and eyes of his father. Palm was timid and gentle smaller in comparison to the white tom.
As the two grew and time passed Mambas father had been made Adviser to a new chief. Another traveling cat named Raveneye He held a position of power butalso corruption from the suns heat. eyes gone silver he suffered from an illness known as Bloodboil. Like many others Quicksilver had died of Plague. The oasis was sick and deprived of food.
Just on the peak of the wet season Fire struck the oasis. Chief dying in the blaze. Without an Heir Raveneyes adviser took hold of the oasis. and Made Mamba his own heir.
Mamba took charge with ease. he was a skilled tracker and hunter. But lacked one thing to prepare him for the throne. A mate. His father soon paired the tom off with a female (His Half sister) Hyena. she was a cruel beast. but bore his kits without hesitation. Of which two peculiar cats were born. Named Growth and Drought.
Time had passed the kits grown and Vindicts corruption continued. Palm had been forced into the position of a picker by his father and brother. After mating with the oasis's Shawcat Rain he staged rebellion against his father and tore the oasis in two. It was this time war began. Cats on both sides fighting for the blood of an opposing chief.

At the wars end Vindict had been cast out. Though Palm defeated as well. it would have been apparent that Mamba was next in line to rule had there not been a Black Horse. Vindicts Adviser- Cobra and as well the Hlf brother of Mamba overpowered and took lead bringing the oasis back together. but not for long

The New Age
Two seasons after the war had ended another drought came. The oasis shriveled to nothing and the cats needed to move on. In those two seasons between the war and now, Mamba had become quick friends with a Nomadic Shecat that joined the oasis. Her name Tempest. Mamba did his best to train her and prepare the blue/gray shecat for what to expect. but had not prepared for this horrid drought.
As cats died left and right Mamba took his chance to step in and lead once more. He is now the proclaimed Chief of the Sun working as equals with Tempest to R reestablish the Oasis.
