Description
The Spectral Drake was created in response to the Tyrannid threat. Learning from the epic disaster of Iyanden, Akilae technomancers called Bonesingers, designed a new light tank.

Fast, sleek, and powerful, this tank was designed specifically to combat the insect-like swarms. Multiple scythe-like blade wings actually allow the craft to slice it's way through entire swarms with razor-sharp edges without even the slightest hint of instability. Added to that the twin catapult mount as well as 4 lasblasters mounted underneath the main wings, and the Drake is an effective counter to most light-armored infantry.

To combat larger Tyrannid bio-morphs, a micro turret mounts a powerful Pulse Laser that can bring even the most determined monster to it's knees.

Like most Akilae exports, the Spectral Drake lacks many of the more advanced systems and technology that the Akilae use themselves, and the tank itself is not present in their forces. Therefore, it is likely the only Spectral Drakes encountered will be used by Craftworlders, and then only ones that have ties to the great Eldar forge-craft.
