I have two guesses! I think it could be tied to something and the water is running over the string or line and the photo is upside down.
Or I think that there is something sticking out of the wall behind it...lol

he. your first guess is almost right. it is in the very thin sock so you actually cant see it. the sock is tied to on a...what is the name of that thing where water comes out of? in a bath. there it is. and its upside down of course ;D
